As the season’s final round, the 5.451-kilometer Shanghai International Circuit has always been known for its demanding nature. During Friday’s practice sessions, although the team faced mechanical challenges, the engineering team worked through the night to complete adjustments and repairs. Deng Yi delivered an outstanding performance in qualifying, securing second place in both sessions and laying a solid foundation for the main race.

The main race commenced on Saturday afternoon amidst rain. The slippery track conditions introduced numerous variables. Starting from second position, Deng Yi maintained a steady pace in the early stages before showcasing remarkable speed after the pit stop and tire change. In the final phase of the race, he executed a series of decisive overtakes, ultimately crossing the finish line with a significant lead of over 10 seconds, securing an exhilarating victory.
