As the 2026 season begins, the global endurance racing calendar officially returns to action.
As the first major endurance event of the new season in the Middle East, the Creventic 24H Series – Abu Dhabi 6 Hours was held at the Yas Marina Circuit, attracting leading GT teams from Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. In this season-opening showdown, WINHERE Racing delivered a perfect start to its 2026 campaign.
The No. 22 WINHERE–Origine Motorsport entry, driven by Deng Yi, alongside Liu Hangcheng and Wang Zhongwei, competed in the Porsche 911 GT3 R (992). After six hours of intense endurance racing, the team maintained a consistent and disciplined pace to secure third place in the GT3 Pro/Am class, earning WINHERE Racing its first podium finish of the 2026 season.
The Abu Dhabi 6 Hours is known for its high ambient temperatures and prolonged high-load braking conditions, placing exceptional demands on overall vehicle reliability, as well as tire and braking system stability.
At this event, WINHERE Braking partnered for the first time with leading Chinese GT team Origine Motorsport, marking the international endurance race debut of newly developed, race-specific high-performance braking products on the Porsche 911 GT3 R (992).
The podium finish at the Abu Dhabi 6 Hours not only establishes a confident and positive start to WINHERE Racing’s 2026 season, but also represents another important validation of WINHERE braking technology on the international endurance racing stage.
