"Passenger Car Brake Disc Product Standards and Test Methods" was released by CAAM

On November 21, 2019, approved by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), "Passenger Car Brake Disc Product Standards and Test Methods" was released to the public and was officially implemented on December 1, 2019.

"Passenger Car Brake Disc Product Standards and Test Methods_T/CAAMTB 9-2018" is a set of national technical standards for OEM automobile industry in China, it was drafted and developed with the support and guidance of the China Automobile Association Brake Committee and other relevant departments.

The drafting team members include Great Wall Motor, Geely Auto, Wanxiang Group, BWI Group and other well-known domestic OEMs and brake system enterprises. The audit is completed by the China Automobile Association Brake Committee and experts from FAW, BAIC Motor, Great Wall, Geely Auto, SAIC Brake and other companies, Winhere was authorized and has undertaken the lead drafting of this OEM national standard.

The formulation and promulgation of this standard is of great significance to the technical specifications of passenger car brake discs in the China’s automobile industry, which provides the professional industry standard for China OEM car makers and their brake disc suppliers.
